We've redesigned the ToeWrench and added a number of new sizes. This new model is CNC machined from 7075 grade aluminum for extra strength.
The new design features a slight offset to provide clearance on some axles and swing arms. Overall it makes the tool easier to use.
Every ToeWrench still comes with 5 m (15') of 3 mm rope. Make sure to expand the text to read about every variant we offer.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You don't often need to remove your wheels and hopefully you're not towing your buddies very often. So why carry a big clunky set of axle wrenches and a huge tow rope made of webbing?
The ToeWRENCH is a compact, light weight axle-wrench/tow-rope combo that you can toss under your seat or in your tool bag without wasting a bunch of space or adding a bunch of weight.
The Tow rope is wrapped around the handle and is 5 m (15') of 3 mm Kevlar rope and is rated for 450 kg (1000 lbs) of pull. Our field testing with a load cell has shown that towing a big bike up a 6% grade never gets above 50 kgs (110 lbs).
The wrench comes in a variety of sizes, is CNC'd from 7075 grade aluminum and clear anodized for corrosion resistance. We've tested these tools to >150 N-m (110 ft-lbs) of torque. Ya, its short but that's solved with some extra force from your big toe.
The tool and rope weigh in at a measly 75g (2.5 ounces).
The following are some of the applications for the current wrench sizes. Please check your bike to confirm fitment!
19mm Hex/27mm - Yamaha Tenere 700/Tenere 1200 (T7/T12)
The T7 needs the right axle wrench, and this is it. A 19mm hex/allen head for your front axle and a 27mm for the rear. Like all the v2 ToeWrench designs, the 27mm rear is offset to provide clearance removing the rear axle nut.
17mm Hex/27mm - Triumph (Tiger 800/900/1200, Scrambler 1200)
The Triumphs needs the right axle wrench, and this is it. A 17mm hex/allen head for your front axle and a 27mm for the rear. Like all the v2 ToeWrench designs, the 27mm rear is offset to provide clearance removing the rear axle nut.
17mm Hex/26mm - Aprilia Tuareg 660
The Aprilia is a little different. If has a 17mm hex/allen for the front axles, but the rear is an odd sized 26mm. This version has what you need for your Aprilia Tuareg.
Ducati DesertX - 36mm 12 point/32mm 6 point
This is the big daddy of our ToeWrench series. We have the big 36mm 12 point drive end for the rear axle and a 32mm 6 point for the front. This variant is 215mm long (roughly 60mm longer than our standard ToeWrench) to give you a little extra leverage for the high torque values the Ducati requires. This quality CNC machined tool is what you need for your Italian ADV machine.
22/32mm - The Kove 450/Honda CRF450L
The Kove 450 Rally is popular, so we came out with a ToeWrench just for it. A 32mm rear axle nut and a 22mm front axle nut.
17/30mm - >2023 KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas 350/500 series
The 2023 and newer Orange Blue and Red triplets come with a new 30mm rear axle nut and the same 17mm front. If you have a new 350/500 dual sport with Austrian roots, this is the wrench for you.
17/27mm - <2022 KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas 350/500 series
The 2022 and older Orange and Blue twins have the standard KTM smaller bike 27mm rear axle nut and a 17mm front. If you have a 350/500 dual sport with Austrian roots that was made in 2022 or older, this is the wrench for you.
27/32mm - Universal KTM/Husqvarna Big ADV Bikes
If you have a big, multi-cylinder based ADV bike that came from an Austrian manufacturer, odds are your front and rear axle nuts are 32mm. This wrench has a 32mm on the big end and a 27mm on the small end. The 27mm is handy as it works on many of the smaller KTMs as well.
22/27mm - Honda Africa Twin/TransAlp
Do you ride red? The modern Honda Africa Twin and TransAlp run a 22mm front and 27mm rear. Like all V2 ToeWrenches, this has the offset to give you clearance removing the rear axle nut.
12mm/34mm - BMW F900GS
We're here for the new F900GS series from BMW. A 12mm hex/Allen head for the front axle and a big 34mm for the rear. Offset to give you clearance to get on the rear axle nut.
26/30mm - Moto Guzzi V85TT
Once again, we're here for the Italian motorcycle fans. The Moto Guzzi V85TT series of bikes requires a 26mm front and 30mm rear. We've got you covered with this gorgeous variant of the ToeWrench.
